Pastor Craig Muhlbach

The Reverend Craig Muhlbach was born on January 11, 1960 to Frank and Roberta Muhlbach in Jamaica, Queens, New York.  He was born again through the waters of Baptism on January 31, 1960 at Calvary Lutheran Church, East Meadow, New York. He confirmed the faith in May 1974.

After high school, Pastor Muhlbach served in the United States Coast Guard (1978-1983) as an aviation electrician and flew as a navigator on a HU-16.  Following his honorable discharge, he attended Concordia College, Bronxville, NY from which he graduated in 1987 with a BA Degree in Behavioral Science and Biblical Studies.

On June 11, 1988, Pastor Muhlbach was united in marriage with Erika Messina at St. John Lutheran Church, Glendale, NY.  They have three sons Brandon, Justin and Spencer.

Pastor Muhlbach earned his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.  He was ordained at his home church, Calvary; East Meadow in June 1992.  Pastor Muhlbach has served the church at Faith Lutheran Church in Tracy, Minnesota (1992-1995). During this time he also served as a Chaplain in the US Army Reserves.  He served a two-point parish at St. Paul in Potter and Salem in Gurley, Nebraska (1995-1999).

Pastor Muhlbach is currently serving at St. John Lutheran Church, Seymour Indiana since 1999.  He is also serving as a Chaplain with Indiana National Guard 152 Calvary (RSTA) out of New Albany, Indiana in Camp Taji, Iraq.
