Volunteers are always needed to help wheel residents of the Lutheran Community Home to chapel services and back to their rooms. Keeping Up with Devotions?  The Stewardship Committee challenges all our members to begin, or to continue, the daily habit of reading Portals of Prayer. This booklet is available free of charge. We encourage you to take a copy (or a copy of My Devotions, if you have young children at home), and use the purple calendar available to chart your reading for 21 days—the time it usually takes for a habit to “stick.”  It only takes a few minutes a day—and it can be a wonderfully refreshing way for our faith to be nourished daily.

Orphan Grain Train is in need of volunteers to prepare donations for shipping.  There are no specific hours or days.  You can help whenever it is convenient to you.   For more information, call the warehouse at 812-579-6884.  Or you can e-mail Gene Wint at genewint@aol.com.
