Sharon Rohr is our principal and also teaches grades 1 and 2. She is now in her 42nd year as a teacher, all at St. John's Sauers. In years past, she has also served as athletic director and has coached girls sports. Sharon is a 1970 graduate of Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. Sharon and her husband, Frank (deceased), have 2 children, Matthew Rohr and Rachel Rohr Klosterman, as well as 4 grandchildren.
Cheryl Hallow teaches grades 3 and 4. She is now in her 6th year as a teacher, at St. John's Sauers. In years past, she has also served as a substitute teacher at Seymour, Brownstown and Columbus schools. Cheryl is a 2005 graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University in Columbus, Indiana. Cheryl and her husband, Tim, have 4 children, Andrew, Christopher, Jared, and Jordan, in high school and college.

Susan
Hessong shares 5th and 6th grade teaching responsibilities
with Stacy Wright. She is now in her 6th year as a teacher at St. John's Sauers. In years past, she has also
taught at St. John, South Euclid, Ohio, St. John, North Tonawanda, New York and St. James, Lafayette, Indiana. Susan is a 1986 graduate of Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She
has also furthered her education at Niagara University, Indiana University/Purdue University, and Indiana Wesleyan.
Susan and her husband, Brian, have 3 children: Herbert, Kenneth,
and Amelia, all of whom now attend St. John’s. -- Brenda Klosterman teaches pre-school – both beginner
and pre-Kindergarten. She is now in her 10th year as a teacher, with 3 years as a teacher’s aid prior to taking
over pre-school instruction. Brenda is a 1979 graduate of Seymour
High School in Seymour, Indiana. She has also attended numerous seminars and conferences for pre-school instructors.
Brenda and her husband, Max, have 4 children: Lacy, Leah, Clayton, and Lisbeth.
Mrs. Wendi Lepley is our 7th and 8th grade teacher. She is now in her 2nd year as a teacher at St. John's Sauers. Mrs. Lepley taught 7th and 8th grade at Emmaus Lutheran in Fort Wayne and has been a substitute teacher at Seymour Middle School and High School. Mrs. Lepley’s husband Rev. Daniel Lepley is associate pastor at Redeemer Lutheran in Seymour. Rev. and Mrs. Lepley have four children. |
