One Body in Christ~The theme for our 2011-2012 school year is . . . One Body in Christ. ~ "The body is a unit, though it is made up of many
parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ …
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." 1 Corinthians
12:12, 27. By grace you have been
saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.

2012 NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS
WEEK. St. John’s Lutheran School
will be celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week this school year during the week of March 4—10, 2012.
The theme for this 2012 NLSW celebration will be “Securing Each Child’s Future—Equipped” and
based on 2 Timothy 3: 16—17, which reads: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for
re-proof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good
work.” -- It is through our efforts, teaching, and service that
Lutheran schools and Lutheran worship affirm that God works through His Word to bless and nurture not only adults, but also
infants and children. It is with this in mind that St. John’s Lutheran Church recognizes the value of Christian education
and the importance that needs to be placed upon this mission & ministry not only through our church but also our school.
We praise God for all that He has done for us and look forward to sharing His Word with all those around us & throughout
the world in many different ways.
